How we verify reviews

Every badge on our sites means something specific. Here is exactly what we check — and what we don't claim.

Two verification states

Verified — a human moderator examined direct proof of a real engagement: a signed contract, invoice, billing record or equivalent transaction evidence tied to the reviewer.

Unverified — a genuine client survey or feedback submission without attached billing or contract proof. We publish it, labeled honestly. We never claim proof we haven't seen.

1. Identity

We confirm the reviewer is a real person connected to the engagement. Personal email addresses are never shown publicly — reviewers appear by first name and last initial.

2. Proof of engagement

For a Verified badge, moderators inspect documentation that the reviewer was a paying client. The moderator records what was inspected before the badge can be applied.

3. Faithful publication

Where survey answers are summarized into a readable testimonial, the text may only use facts, numbers and sentiments the client actually stated. A moderator compares the original answers side by side with the proposed review before anything is published.

4. Independence

The reviewed company does not own, operate, or edit its review site. It cannot remove reviews it dislikes.
